The tour in a nutshell
Same 42 islands, completely different day. Aboard a spacious catamaran, Ang Thong unfolds at a gentler pace: sun cushions on the foredeck, a proper breakfast as the archipelago rises on the horizon, and anchorages chosen for their quiet rather than their convenience.
You'll still tick off the icons — the Emerald Lagoon, kayaking under the cliffs, snorkeling in clear bays — but between them you'll be sipping chilled drinks on deck instead of queueing on a crowded speedboat. Lunch is freshly cooked on board and served with a view no restaurant can match. If you're going to see Ang Thong once, this is the way to remember it.

Frequently asked questions
How is this different from the classic Ang Thong tour?
The destination is the same; the experience isn't. Fewer guests, a much more comfortable boat, real meals instead of a lunchbox, and a schedule designed around quiet anchorages rather than speed.
Is it worth it for families?
Very much — the stable catamaran is far more comfortable for children (and anyone prone to seasickness) than a speedboat, and there's space to nap in the shade.
Can we privatise the catamaran?
Yes — the whole boat can be yours. See our private tours page or message us for a quote.
