The catamaran pier on the north coast, and the fastest way to Koh Phangan and Koh Tao.
The catamaran pier on the north coast, and the fastest way off Samui: Koh Phangan in about thirty minutes, Koh Tao in around two hours. Ten minutes from the airport, five from Fisherman's Village.
It is a small pier with a ticket office, a café and a car park, sitting below the Big Buddha temple. Most day trips to Koh Tao and Koh Phangan leave from here, which makes the north coast the practical place to sleep if you plan several island days.
Ten minutes from the airport, five from Fisherman's Village.
Crossings can be cancelled in rough weather, mostly in November and December. Keep a buffer day before an international flight.
