The group boat that works
Put fifteen people on a speedboat and half of them spend the day holding on. Put them on a catamaran and they spread out: some on the trampoline nets at the bow, some in the shade of the cockpit, someone asleep on a bench, two more swimming off the back platform. Nobody is in anyone's way, and the boat barely moves.
That stability is the real argument. Catamarans don't roll the way a monohull does, so the people in your group who quietly dread boats — the grandparents, the pregnant sister, anyone who has had one bad crossing — have a good day instead of an endured one. Add a proper galley and lunch cooked on board, and you have the format we recommend for almost every group of ten or more.

💡 Good to know
⛵ Sail or power: sailing catamarans are quieter and more fun; power catamarans are faster and better if you want Ang Thong in a day. Tell us which matters more.
👥 Capacity: up to 20 guests for a day charter. Beyond that we add a second boat rather than crowd the deck.
🌦️ Wind: no wind means we motor, which is normal here and changes nothing about the day. Real weather is confirmed the evening before.

Frequently asked questions
Sailing or power catamaran — which should we take?
Sailing if you want the experience and a quiet deck; power if you want to cover distance, Ang Thong in particular. Both have the same stability and the same enormous deck.
Is a catamaran good for people who get seasick?
It's the best option we have. Two hulls means almost no roll, and at anchor the boat is nearly flat. We steer seasick-prone groups to catamarans as a rule.
Can we charter it for a wedding or a company day?
