Boats leave from Thong Krut and usually pair the island with snorkelling off Koh Tan next door. The sand is soft, the water is waist-deep a long way out, and there is shade at the tree line — a half-day rather than a full one.
Do not feed them from your hand — the guides carry what they are allowed to eat.
