Speed is what buys you the empty beach
Distance is the constraint on Koh Samui. Ang Thong is 30 km away, Koh Tao is 60. A shared tour absorbs that with an early start and a long crossing packed with sixty other people. A private speedboat absorbs it in forty-five minutes, and the time you save is the time you spend in a bay with nobody in it.
It's also the most flexible boat we charter. Shallow enough for Koh Madsum, fast enough for Koh Tao and back in a day, small enough to slip into coves the bigger boats can't enter. Skipper, fuel, snorkelling gear and a sun canopy come as standard; the route is whatever you and the skipper agree on the morning.

π Sea state: a speedboat is fast but it feels the swell. In rough weather we suggest a catamaran, a closer route or another date β we'll tell you straight.
πΆ Children: welcome from 4 years old with child-size life jackets. For toddlers, a catamaran or a longtail is the kinder ride.
β° Early start: leaving at 8 am rather than 9 puts you an hour ahead of the tour fleet. On Ang Thong days it's the single best decision you'll make.

Frequently asked questions
Can we reach Koh Tao and get back the same day?
Yes β an hour and a half each way, so you leave early and get back late afternoon. It's a long day but the snorkelling around Koh Nang Yuan is the best in the Gulf.
Is it worth chartering rather than joining a shared Ang Thong tour?
For four or more people, usually yes. You leave an hour earlier, skip stops you don't care about and swim in bays while the shared boats are still queueing at the viewpoint.
How many people fit comfortably?
Up to 20 on the larger boats, though 12 to 14 is where a speedboat feels genuinely comfortable for a full day. For bigger groups we'd point you at the catamaran.
