The ride, end to end
Taling Ngam and the south-west coast are the far side of Samui from the airport, and that distance is exactly what people come for. The hillside resorts here look out over the water towards the Five Islands, the beaches are almost empty on a weekday, and there is no strip, no bar street and no traffic.
The drive is the longest we do on the island — three quarters of an hour, around the south of the ring road past Lamai or across the middle by Nathon depending on the hour. It is also the run where a fixed price matters most: this is the trip a taxi rank quotes highest for.

💰 Per vehicle, not per person: the price below is for the whole car, up to 8 passengers with luggage. Four of you splits it four ways.
🕐 Night arrivals are fine: the last flights land close to midnight and we meet all of them. No night surcharge.
⚠️ Rates are indicative: the final grid is being confirmed with our drivers. Your quote comes back with a firm price before you commit anything.

Frequently asked questions
Is fifty minutes from the airport a problem?
Only on the day you arrive. Once you are there the south coast has its own restaurants and beaches, and most guests leave the property twice in a week. If you plan to be out every night, Bophut or Chaweng will suit you better.
Do you serve the resorts on the hillside above the road?
Yes — all of them. Give us the resort name rather than the area: the private access roads branch off the coast road with no signage and are genuinely hard to find in the dark.
What if my flight is delayed?
We track it in real time. Your driver adjusts to the new landing time and there is no extra charge — that is the whole reason we ask for a flight number rather than an hour.
Is the price per person or per vehicle?
Per vehicle, up to 8 passengers with their luggage. Splitting it between four people usually beats two taxis.
Can I book the return at the same time?
Yes, and you should — one message, both directions, the same fixed price each way. We come back for you at the hotel at whatever time your flight needs.
