The ride, end to end
Bophut sits just west of the airport on the same north coast, so the drive is short and flat along Route 4169. It ends in the one part of Koh Samui that still looks like the island did before the resorts: a single street of wooden Chinese shophouses, restaurants on the water, and the Friday walking street that fills the whole thing with food stalls.
It is also the practical corner of the island. Bangrak pier — the Big Buddha pier — is five minutes away and is where the fast boats to Koh Phangan go from. If your plan is to land and keep moving, this is the transfer that puts you closest to the next boat.

Frequently asked questions
Can you take me straight to Bangrak pier for the Koh Phangan boat?
Yes. Give us the ferry time when you book and we will set the pick-up so you arrive with a margin for the ticket desk — usually thirty to forty minutes before departure, which is plenty at Bangrak.
Does the Friday walking street block access to the hotels?
The old street closes to cars on Friday evening. Hotels on it stay reachable on foot from either end, and our drivers know which end is closest to yours — worth mentioning the hotel name when you book.
What if my flight is delayed?
We track it in real time. Your driver adjusts to the new landing time and there is no extra charge — that is the whole reason we ask for a flight number rather than an hour.
Is the price per person or per vehicle?
Per vehicle, up to 8 passengers with their luggage. Splitting it between four people usually beats two taxis.
Can I book the return at the same time?
Yes, and you should — one message, both directions, the same fixed price each way. We come back for you at the hotel at whatever time your flight needs.
