The stalls along Chaweng Beach Road are the loudest and most touristy market on the island — and the one still serving food when everything else has shut. Skewers, pad thai, tailors, copies, massage.
It is not a weekly event: the stretch behind the beach works most evenings, busiest from about seven. Prices start high and are expected to be negotiated, which is not the case at Maenam or Lamai.
