The ride, end to end
Chaweng is the closest of the big beaches to the airport, which surprises most people: the runway sits at the top of the same bay. Unless you land in the middle of the evening rush on Chaweng Beach Road, you are at reception before your bags would have come off a carousel at a bigger airport.
The short distance is exactly why it is worth booking rather than improvising. Taxi drivers at Samui know it takes fifteen minutes and price it like an event; a fixed ฿440 for the whole vehicle, luggage in, is the boring version of that conversation.

Frequently asked questions
How long does it really take from the airport to Chaweng?
Ten to fifteen minutes to north Chaweng, a little more to Chaweng Noi at the south end. The only thing that stretches it is the evening congestion on Beach Road, which the lake road avoids.
Is a transfer worth it for such a short trip?
For the price, yes — a metered taxi is rarely offered here, and the fare quoted at the rank for the same fifteen minutes is usually higher than ฿440 for fewer seats. And you skip the negotiation at 11 pm with three suitcases.
What if my flight is delayed?
We track it in real time. Your driver adjusts to the new landing time and there is no extra charge — that is the whole reason we ask for a flight number rather than an hour.
Is the price per person or per vehicle?
Per vehicle, up to 8 passengers with their luggage. Splitting it between four people usually beats two taxis.
Can I book the return at the same time?
Yes, and you should — one message, both directions, the same fixed price each way. We come back for you at the hotel at whatever time your flight needs.
