Maenam is what people mean when they say they want Koh Samui without the noise: seven kilometres of shallow, gently shelving sand, a village rather than a strip, and prices that have not caught up with Chaweng. The drive follows the north coast the whole way, so it is one straight, easy road from the terminal.
It is also where two errands live. The Lomprayah catamarans to Koh Phangan and Koh Tao leave from Maenam pier, and the island's immigration office — the one that handles visa extensions — is in the village. If either is on your list, staying here saves a trip.

🕐 Night arrivals are fine: the last flights land close to midnight and we meet all of them. No night surcharge.

Frequently asked questions
Can you drop me at Maenam pier rather than a hotel?
Yes, and it is a common request — many people land at Samui and sail straight on to Koh Tao. Send the sailing time and we will get you there with enough margin for the ticket desk and the luggage check.
How far is Maenam from Chaweng and the airport?
Twenty to twenty-five minutes from the airport, about thirty from Chaweng. Far enough that the nightlife does not reach you, close enough to go and find it for an evening.
What if my flight is delayed?
We track it in real time. Your driver adjusts to the new landing time and there is no extra charge — that is the whole reason we ask for a flight number rather than an hour.
Is the price per person or per vehicle?
Per vehicle, up to 8 passengers with their luggage. Splitting it between four people usually beats two taxis.
Can I book the return at the same time?
Yes, and you should — one message, both directions, the same fixed price each way. We come back for you at the hotel at whatever time your flight needs.
