The small north-coast pier, and the boat that goes straight to Haad Rin on Koh Phangan — the useful one if the Full Moon Party is the reason you are crossing.
It is a jetty at the end of a village lane, with a ticket window and not much else. On ordinary days it is quiet; on Full Moon nights it is the busiest point on the north coast, with boats running late.
This is the Full Moon Party pier. Expect a queue that night.
Full Moon return boats are heavily loaded and leave at dawn; buy the return with the outbound rather than on the night.
